Life In Columbia is Very Hard for These Strays…

Colombia is among one of the leading Countries for a number of stray animals in the streets. Any donations and funding dollars stretch further in Colombia. The need for funding is always necessary, since we want to keep growing. please donate, and adopt today. We provide assistance to the community to those individuals who love their pets but don’t have the means financially to feed or care for their animals

We have clinics that work with us at a discount, and are licensed veterinarian and trained technicians to provide on-going medical care essential vaccinations, spaying/neutering and other general surgeries for the shelter animals. Some of these animals arrive malnourished, abused or unwell, since they have been living in the streets, some injured by cars.  We work to rehabilitate and nurture these animals, in the hopes that they are adopted.

Homeless animals often resort to scavenging for food in trash bins, facing danger and potential harm. However, it’s imperative that they aren’t subjected to further harm when seeking sustenance. Instead, it’s the duty of the community to extend a helping hand. Awareness needs to be raised within the community regarding the emotions and necessities of animals and pets. Many pet owners remain unaware of the importance of spaying and neutering, leading to unplanned litters and abandonment.

Our objective through educational initiatives is to instill in families, particularly youngsters, a sense of respect and affection for animals from an early age. It’s crucial for them to recognize that animals deserve the same level of regard as humans. Furthermore, we aim to educate children and families about the benefits of having pets in their homes. Pets play a vital role in helping us navigate through emotional challenges, often overlooked in our daily lives. It’s essential for adults to grasp that spaying and neutering are fundamental responsibilities that come with pet ownership, signifying a commitment to the well-being of our animal companions.
